He's a Ghanaian-Okie

Well, it's happening... Bright is turning into an Okie. This kid still has a Ghanaian accent in some ways. Kiss is "keese", for example. But his new thing is pure Okie.

When I ask him a question and the answer is affirmative, he does a slight nod of the head at the same time he says "Yessir." [Yes sir, for those who need this word translated.] What's funny is that he says it like an old farmer--just like my Papa Foster would have said it.

I decided that I would try to get him to say this word on video. Of course, if you know Bright you know that he will go to great lengths to NOT do what you want him to do. I made this video of my attempts to get Bright to say "Yessir."
