Proof that it IS Winter!

A few weeks ago Samren said, "Mom, when is it going to be winter?" I told him that it IS winter, since December 21st. I don't think he quite believed me, since we've had NO snow or ice, and very few days even as cool as the 40's!

Well, Wednesday night the Lord blessed us with just a taste of winter! When we left for Church it was in the mid-50's but by the time we packed the crew up to head home it was blowing snow! Big beautiful flakes and strong north winds. Before heading to bed I took the above photo, just as proof that we got the little taste of winter! The next day it all melted away and as I write this we are all sitting her with the back door open, letting the fresh air in. =-)
