Opinions Needed!
Yes, this is a VERY important post. All posts about hair are important, are they not? Not! But life is pretty blah right now so this is my current biggest decision (not complaining)!
I have a hairy little secret. If I don't blow dry and then straight iron my hair it has a lot of natural body. If I "scrunch" my hair it actually gets quite a bit of curl going on.
I'm just kind of bored with my hair. Is it totally 80's for me to let my hair go curly for a while? This is how I can get it even without any special curling spray. I'm thinking a quick trip to Target could get me some pretty good spiral-ish curls going. In Ghana my hair goes pretty curly anyway.
What do we think? Should I install the curls into my regular repretoire of styles, or keep it on the straight and narrow? I need your comments! =-)

I like the curls - a lot!! There is so much you can do w/it. Coming from someone who has harly any hair...I would go w/the curl route.
Now, that being said - remember I dont' have much hair. So maybe I am not the best person to ask.
I go for the curls.

Ahh...blush! Thanks guys! My hair did not used to be this naturally curly. It seems to be going more this direction the older I get. It's kind of in-between hair. I have to work just as hard to make the curls look good as I do to make straightness look good. I was kind of shocked it got THIS curly today when I tried it!
Now I am armed with curl enhancing shampoo and spray gel. Watch out world! LOL!

I LOVE the curls!
My hair is very similar. My hubby loves the curls, but then I need to "do" my hair every day. Since I have very dry hair, if I straighten it I have an in-between day that I can get up and run a comb through it.

Well this curly girl totally understands your dilemma! Read the book "Curly Girl" by Lorraine Massey. It will give you steps to get those curls even curlier and tell you how to get curl/lift at the roots where it is straighter. Everyday as I straighten my hair I wonder WHY? But I feel like a "wild woman" when I let it go. ;)
CURLS, CURLS, CURLS! I love the curls! My hair is like that during our humid season. It is so easy to do and manage. Go For it!
