What do you think?

Am I going to be stylin' or what?! I found this one at Dupsie's for less than $60 after hours of searching last night. I talked to Muna (my friend who is getting married) this morning and she has given it her full Ghanaian diva blessing! LOL! Muna is VERY particular about how she dresses and I knew she would be VERY particular about what she thought I should wear to her wedding! LOL! It must not be a bubu/kaftan, even though THAT would actually be comfortable. No. It must be a form fitting "kaba and slit" style Ghanaian outfit! Muna also said the color was "gorgeous"...to get that dress right now! So I gulped and did it. Here's hoping it fits now!

Here's how Muna pulls off a Kaba and Slit. Yowza!

Thanks Ladies!

Laurel, there are two ceremonies (church and traditional) so I believe I will need two dresses. Your offer is so kind!

Ericka, Thanks! Are you talking about the woman wearing the outfit I bought? If so, that's a manican (sp)!!! LOL! The woman wearing the white and kente kaba and slit is my friend Muna, who is getting married (also the administrator of Eban House)!
