Best Friends Forever

One of the most wonderful things about having kids close in age is that (at least in our case) they are the best of friends. Taevy and Samren have been best friends since they were 18 and 5 months old. The last picture was taken just tonight. Every non-school night they ask to have "sleep-over." I love that the love each other so much!!! I'm glad that soon Bright will have someone close in age to him as well. He and #4 will be 20 months apart.

Fun pictures!

Our kids really are best of friends.

We had our first 5 kids in 4 years, and they are all sooo.... close, even now that they are all adults.

Our last 3 bio. were more separated age-wise, and we are so glad that the Lord brought each of them a "virtual twin" when we adopted 3 siblings last year. Now, our youngest 6 are within 6 years, just as our older 6 were within 6 years. (Each group having 3 boys and 3 girls). Isn't God cool, how He planned that?

Keep encouraging those "best friend" relationships. I'm so glad that Bright will have his own little best friend soon.

That is so sweet!!!!!
I saw the coolest thing today that you might want to post on the Ghana board for parents that have older or tween girls.
HBO is coming out with a series: 'The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency' based on several books written by Alexander McCall Smith.
It's about a woman detective (the singer Jill Scott) in Botswana, Africa. How cool is that!
I saw the books today at Costco.
One of the cases is about a woman who is suspecting her husband is cheating, but the language is mild, no sex or violence.
Could be a positive read???
