Ever-Hopeful for Cambodian Adoptions

Today THIS story was posted on a Cambodia adoption list. I don't know if it is because Cambodia was where our first adoption happened, or because the people are so amazing, or because of all of the trauma I saw my friends go through when adoptions closed in 2001...but my heart skips a beat whenever I see a glimmer of hope that Cambodia may reopen to (ETHICAL!) international adoptions. I hope, I hope, I hope...

Oh I saw this a bit ago and my heart skipped a beat!!!!!After ALL this time, it would be so wonderful if Cambodia could work this out! Our daugthers Leah and Rachel were the last two adopted children issued US immigrant visas after the suspension went into effect. Amen ... to ETHICAL adoptions in Cambodia!!
