Mmm...Mmm...Good!

The best thing about carving pumpkins is roasting the seeds! Yum!Gillispie Roasted Pumpkin Seeds


*Rinse seeds, seperating pumpkin "guts" from the seeds.

*Boil in salt water for 10 minutes (1 tablespoon salt to 2 cups of water, 2 cups of whater for each 1/2 cup of seeds)

*Drain seeds from salt water

*Add 1 tablespoon butter

*Add 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

*Add 1 tablespoon worchester sauce

*Poor into cookie sheet in single layer

*Roast in pre-headed 300 degree oven for about 1 hour (or until dry and golden)

*Don't forget to stir the seeds every 10-15 minutes for even roasting

yum I will have to try that recipe, we did them for the frist time this year, yummy!

mm, we did ours last night..one batch was garlic powder and the other I used dill veggie dip powder(the kind you mix with sour cream) yummmm
