Looking Forward to Friday!

Hi All,

I just got an email from Lois at LVI (who is currently sweating her tushy off in Haiti). She said that when she gets home on Friday she will send us pictures! Yeah! It feels good to have a definite day to look forward to precious faces.

The family before us has chosen their girls from the 4 girl referrals. They chose to adopt the two 4 year olds, leaving a 5 year old and a 3 year old. Also, three boy referrals just came today. The family before us will choose one of those boys and the other two will come to us for consideration. The youngest of the boys is 3, and the Dailey family will likely choose him.

One interesting thing in all of this is that both Lois and I anticipated the Dailey's choosing to adopt the 3 year old little girl. Lois said that she is absolutely stunning. She also said, "but if she's supposed to be your daughter she will still be available." Hmmmm...

All in all we hope to end up with one of our two referrals this week. It looks unlikely that both of our kiddos will be in this "batch" but we'll never count God out--He may have different plans for us. Lois will be traveling to Liberia in July and said she will be coming back with referrals. We will most likely wait to see the referrals she can come back with (hoping for younger children) before we select our second child. It just feels like we're supposed to have a younger child (younger than 3).

Love,
Anita
