Postings about Children

Hi all. Got an email from Lois (LVI) today. First time she's contacted me since I've been here. It wasn't to see how Bright is, or to see if I need any assitance, but rather to "warn" me that she has received "several messages" complaining that I have put specific information on the web about your children at Eugemot. I know all of you, and can't imagine that you would complain to Lois about this rather than just writing to me (or leaving a comment). So...if I have inadvertantly upset you by giving you an update on your child on my blog, please either leave a comment and let me know, or write to me at agillispie@gmail.com. Wouldn't want to do that. If I have NOT offended you, please also leave a comment. Lois warns that some of you might want to sue me (seems hard to imagine).

Thanks!
Anita

The heat must really be burning a hole in her britches!! I am so sorry Anita (and Bright) that you've had to deal with such pettiness. The last I read there was nothing in regards to other children posted on here...unless you post somewhere else that I don't know about. Regardless, Anita...savor every second w/your sweet little baby. And pleas don't let this junk bother you!!!!

FIRST OFF I L0VE READING YOUR BLOG. YOU ARE A TRUE MOM. I BELIEVE THAT ANY NEW MOM AND DAD TO BE, WOULD LOVE HEARING ANY LITTLE BIT OF NEWS ABOUT THEIR CHILD. I READ WHAT YOU SAID AND I SEE IT AS YOU ARE SO HAPPY TO LET THEM KNOW EVEN A TID BIT OF INFO . ANY TRUE PARENT WOULD BE HAPPY TO HEAR IT. MAYBE SOMEONE IS MAD OR JEALOUS THAT YOU TOOK THE BULL BY THE HORN AND WENT AND KNEW YOUR CHILD NEEDED YOU AND YOU PUT HIM FIRST.GOOD LUCK, KA

Not to be rude or anything towards certain people... but people who aren't lawyers shouldn't be giving out legal advice. That would be like calling the plumber when my house is on fire. :)

Let's be realistic here my friend, I consulted with an attorney for you (my sister who is a big fan of your blog).

1. That would not be a good legal case at all. "A person who knows me from the internet posted about my hopefully-soon-to-be child from another country on her internet blog and now I want to take her to court for __________". For WHAT?
(LOL... sorry to laugh!)

2. You don't really have anything worth suing for! (Unless you have been hiding the fact about your multiple vacation homes and classic car collection from me, oh and your lottery winnings! LOL)

Bright looks great Anita. Enjoy this time with your son and don't even worry about all the drama. Because that is all it is, DRAMA.
Love you,
Sarah

Anita,

I'm just now recovering from our recent trip to Ethiopia and have been catching up on your blog today. I haven't totally caught up yet, but it seems that Bright is not home in America with you. My heart breaks for you, as I know too well the anguish that a mother's heart faces in this situation. I'm also so sorry that you have to deal with so much drama from your agency. Cheryl from AFAA gave our family the same grief and I know so well that a family in your shoes certainly doesn't need the added crisis/drama to deal with. My kids are home now and soon we can begin to put this all behind us. Your time is coming soon. Take heart and let God hold you when you are weary...Praying,
Heather
