Eric said no.

We won't be going forward to adopt the child I wanted to give my #4 spot to. Eric has prayed about it (sincerely) and just does not feel like it is the right thing for our family at this time.

I am heartbroken. But I love my husband. I know he believes that this decision is best.

It is so hard, keep praying. You are trusting God and that is the most important thing.

So so sorry for you Anita. I know how devastating not going forward with an adoption can be, even more so when you've met them. Sending love and prayers up for you. Heather A

Sorry Anita. I was really hoping for this one. God has a plan, we just have to trust him.

God Bless,
Hilda :)

Ugh, so sorry to hear this.

I do believe that God speaks to us through our spouse, though.

It is good that you are accepting his answer, no matter how difficult it is, and letting Eric lead your family.

Love,

Sue

Anita, I am so sorry! I know well the place you are in....but I have found over the years that when John says no, it is the right thing..I would adopt them all! Praying that #4 is revealed soon! :)

Anita, I thought of this song when you said that your heart is broken. It is one of my favorite "balm in Gilead songs".
